Sam and Chris’s wedding at Nug Nug Ranch was a day packed with love, laughter, and plenty of surprises! Nestled in the stunning scenery of the Victorian High Country, the ranch’s rolling hills and roaming Highland cattle set the perfect scene for their special day.

The ceremony took place in one of the paddocks, with the breathtaking hills as a backdrop. It was a beautiful ceremony, made even more special by the couple’s children, Everly and Asher, taking part. Everly was an adorable flower girl, and Asher melted hearts as the ring bearer. Sam’s walk down the aisle to “Better Together” by Jack Johnson was such a sweet touch, capturing the relaxed and loving vibe of the day.

Sam’s dress was straight out of a fairy tale—the long train added such a dramatic flair—but the real showstopper was the secret jumpsuit reveal during Sammy and Chris’s first dance. Chris’s reaction was priceless when Sam whipped off the skirt, ready to rock the dance floor in her jumpsuit and cowboy hat! Their first dance to Paramore’s “Still Into You” was a perfect mix of fun and heartfelt, and their entrance to the Bluey theme song had everyone smiling from ear to ear.

The reception was held in the ranch’s barn, which had such an epic vibe. Guests could flow easily between the outdoor lawn and the dancefloor inside, creating a laid-back and joyful atmosphere. A kombi van photobooth added a fun touch, keeping guests entertained as they celebrated. The day was full of DIY elements, from the decor to the personal touches throughout the barn, showcasing Sam and Chris’s creativity and love for making the day uniquely theirs.

We snuck away at sunset for some truly magical moments. Sammy and Chris met and fed the Highland cattle and stole some quiet time away together.

Sam’s mum was by her side as one of her bridesmaids, which was such a beautiful and unique part of the day. The bond between them was so evident, and it was a joy to capture those moments. Claire from Solsken Studio was there to film all the heartfelt and fun memories, while Captured by Callie ensured Sam and Chris had plenty of social media-worthy content to look back on.
