Andy and Hayden
16 March 2024
Hayden and Andy’s wedding was a perfect blend of love, family, and community, all set in the peaceful surroundings of Hayden’s family farm in Lima South. Their story is one of shared adventures, a love for travel, nature, and trying out new foods together.
Their engagement story is pretty special. Andy planned a surprise weekend getaway in Healesville, pretending it was for a friend’s birthday. They stayed in a tiny home hidden in the bush, and on a cold, rainy winter morning, with a cozy fire going, Andy popped the question. It was intimate, unexpected, and absolutely perfect.
Fast forward to their wedding day, which they envisioned as a laid-back celebration, free from stress. They wanted it to be a day to celebrate not just their love, but also their family and friends. The ceremony took place in a small clearing in the bushland at the back of the farm, creating a beautiful, natural setting.
Their adorable pups stole the show as ring bearers, adding a sweet and fun touch to the ceremony. Afterward, we wandered through the bushland for some photos with their wedding party, and then just the two of them in a paddock overlooking the valley. The landscape, with its large boulders and greenery, was a stunning backdrop for their photos.
The reception was held closer to the main house, in a gorgeous marquee surrounded by rugs and cushions, creating a relaxed and cozy vibe. Guests could kick back, relax, and mingle comfortably.
The reception was full of genuine, candid moments, with lots of laughter and joy. It was clear that the focus was on enjoying the day and being with family and friends.
Hayden and Andy said the most important thing on their wedding day was being able to celebrate their relationship with their loved ones. And that’s exactly what they did—a day full of unforgettable moments, laughter, and love.
It was a joy to photograph Hayden and Andy’s wedding, a celebration that truly reflected their love and the importance of their community.
