Abi and Jared’s wedding at Glenbosch Wine Estate was an epic celebration of love, laughter, and the great outdoors. Nestled in the picturesque Victorian High Country, just outside Beechworth, the winery’s rolling hills and beautiful landscapes provided a stunning backdrop for their special day.

Their story began, of all places, on a train ride to a running event. A chance introduction by Abi’s uncle, Bruce, set the stage for a connection that would grow into something beautiful. They later met again at a community running group and their relationship blossomed. Realizing they shared a quirky sense of humor and a love for running, they quickly became inseparable.

Jared’s proposal was as heartfelt as their love story. He chose their favourite spot in the garden at home in Violet Town, serenading Abi with a song on his guitar. With a ring she had already eyed and a heartfelt “yes,” it was a special private moment they can now look back on whenever they are in the garden at home.

On their wedding day, Abi and Jared’s priority was clear: to spend quality time with each other and their loved ones, celebrate their love, and have a blast. The day unfolded perfectly, starting with a first look by the creek which meant after the ceremony they could join their guests at the reception straight away and make the most of their time with their guests

Their outdoor ceremony was filled with laughter (lots!) and a few tears. Abi and Jared chose a unique approach, walking from opposite sides of the aisle to meet in the middle before strolling down together.

The reception was a great mix of relaxed elegance and fun. Guests enjoyed cocktails at the bar and nibbles from a grazing table while soaking up the perfect weather outside. A wood-fired pizza van and ice cream treats added to the casual, yet festive atmosphere. And as the sun set behind the hills, we snuck away for some magical sunset photos in the nearby dry grass – the golden light was so incredible!

The night kicked off with an absolutely epic first dance to “To Be Loved & Lifting Me Higher,” featuring an incredible surprise dance routine complete with outfit changes and Jared even flipping Abi! The dance floor came alive as guests joined in, and as I left Abi and Jared were involved in a dance battle that included the use of giant chess pieces haha!!

Their wedding day was a beautiful representation of their shared passions and joy. With every moment, from the intimate ceremony to the lively reception, Abi and Jared celebrated their love surrounded by family and friends.
