Jazz and Alex’s wedding at Saladin Lodge in Narbethong was a perfect celebration of their love, set against the stunning backdrop of the lodge’s natural surrounds. With their closest family and friends by their side, the day was everything they had envisioned—relaxed, intimate, and full of joy. The secluded venue, surrounded by bushland, provided a stunning setting for their special day.

Their love story began at a local pub where Jazz was bartending. After some persistent efforts from Alex, they finally went on a breakfast date that turned into an all-day affair, and the rest, as they say, is history. Alex’s proposal was spontaneous and at home, full of laughter and surprise, perfectly capturing the playful spirit of their relationship.

The ceremony took place outdoors on a beautiful, sunny day. A wooden arbour adorned with autumn-toned florals by Flowers by Nici framed the couple as they exchanged their vows. The golden orange bridesmaid dresses perfectly matched the floral arrangements, and added a vibrant touch to the ceremony. Jenny Keddell, their celebrant, led a fun and heartfelt ceremony, setting a joyful tone for the day. Their two little ones played special roles in the ceremony, which was so sweet and special to see.

After the ceremony, we wandered through the property to capture some beautiful, candid photos with the Wedding Party. The reception kicked off with guests enjoying drinks by wine barrels outside, lawn games and a grazing table, creating a relaxed and fun atmosphere.

As the sun began to set Jazz, Alex, and I ventured into a nearby paddock on a hillside for some stunning sunset portraits. Jazz kicked off her shoes, and the two took a quiet moment to cuddle and soak in the day.

When the sun finally set, the celebration moved inside the lodge, where guests hit the dance floor and partied into the night.

The day was a perfect reflection of Jazz and Alex’s love for each other, filled with unforgettable moments and the warmth of family and friends. For Jazz and Alex, the most important part of their wedding day was finally getting to marry their best friend and share that happiness with the people who mean the most to them.
